I really like the Leopard Pattern and the flocked Kazuki Kuraishi bears. But the Uglydoll bearbrick is my favorite because it has a very interesting love story behind it.

Happy Valentine's Day, bearbrick lovers!

nice collections though you didn't acquire them all.
ReplyDeleteMichael, thanks for your compliment. The prices of bearbricks are getting a little crazy I have to be more selective in what I collect. After all, not all that are available are worth it. :-)
ReplyDeleteTAHNKS FOR YOUR SHARING~~~VERY NICE ........................................
ReplyDeleteI have a question. I dropped by a local shop called 'clipper' in Trinoma where I saw three big plain Bearbricks (in white, pink and black) its around 15inches tall and sells for 2kPHP (seems pretty cheap).
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if those were legit or not? I saw a medicom label on it's foot but it seems too good to be true.
Marz,
ReplyDeleteAre you sure they're 15 inches tall? They're probably fake.
400% Bearbricks are about 11 inches only. 100%s (which I collect) are about 1.6 inches. The biggest Bearbricks are 1000%s, which are approximately 27 inches tall. The newest size, 200%, is about 5.5 inches.
I only have one Bearbrick (Spock) at the moment, but it's sparked my interest a lot and I've been having a blast looking through your entries and seeing all the different ones you have. Makes me wish I had gotten into this a little earlier when I see a particularly awesome one that I wish I could have. :)
ReplyDeletei'll never look at hubert, my uglydoll, the same way again after knowing the history behind it. that is a beautiful love-commerce story. sigh.
ReplyDeleteHannah, it's never too late... :-)
